Tenure-track Faculty Position in Structural Biology Microbiology and Cell Science Department Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) University of Florida Gainesville, FL, USA This is a 12-month tenure-accruing Assistant/Associate Professor position that will be 25% teaching (College of Agricultural and Life Sciences), 55% research (Florida Agricultural Experiment Station) and 20% service to the Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research (ICBR). Duties will include the development of externally funded research in structural biology, teach a course called “Eukaryotic Cell Structure and Function” every spring semester, mentor and train graduate students. Duties also include serving as the faculty director of the Electron Microscopy Core for ICBR, and actively engaging the Center’s program of science development and support. Microbiologist, ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (TENURE-TRACK) Position Summary: The Department of Biology at California State University, Fresno is seeking a broadly trained microbiologist who will be expected to teach, on a rotational basis, an upper division majors/service course in Microbiology, and an undergraduate and graduate course in the candidate’s area of specialty. Other teaching responsibilities may include one or more courses in Microbial Genetics, Microbial Ecology, Microbial Physiology, Medical Microbiology, Virology and/or Immunology but will depend on candidate's expertise and departmental needs. Participation in the Professional Science Master’s Degree Program in Biotechnology is highly desirable.
