IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY The Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology at Iowa State University is seeking to fill a tenure-track faculty position in Microbiology at the Assistant Professor level. The successful candidate is expected to focus on teaching, and on the scholarship of teaching and learning, in microbiology. The position involves 80% teaching and 20% research effort. The teaching responsibilities will be a general microbiology course for non-majors, involvement in an accompanying laboratory course, and one or more new courses developed in areas of interest and/or need.
