Postdoctoral Opportunity in Fungal Peptide Biochemistry

The Walton lab is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work on a project to biosynthesize and screen small cyclic peptides derived from Amanita phalloides and other fungi. The position is full-time for one year starting on or before January 15, 2017. Experience in standard molecular biology methods, heterologous expression in E. coli and yeast, enzyme purification, and LC/MS of peptides is desirable. For background, see Luo et al. (2014) Chem.
