Register to attend the MSA 2017 Conference

Please note that Active Mycological Society of America members must LOG IN with your MSA member credentials to complete the registration process. Please click "Login" at the top right of the webpage to do so. Then return to this registration page to complete your order.

Non-Members must register for a profile to complete the registration process by clicking HERE. Once you register, please login using the "Login" button at the top right of the webpage, then return to this registration page to complete your order.

Below you will find a module to select your registration type. The fee you will pay is less if you are a student.

  • Student Registration Fee is $310
  • Regular Conference Registration Fee is $450

Your registration fee entitles you to attend: 
  • The Opening Cocktail Reception
  • The Awards Banquet, Auction & Social
  • Morning and Afternoon Coffee & Refreshment Breaks
  • Access to All Open Events at the Classic Center, including the Presidential Address, the Karling Lecture, all Symposia and Oral Presentation Sessions, and the Poster Sessions.
(NOTE: If you would like to have a spouse/guest join you at the Cocktail Reception or the Awards Banquet, please register their attendance below. There will be a $25 charge for a guest to the Cocktail Reception and a $35 charge for a guest to the Awards Banquet.)


All requests for cancellations and refunds must be made in writing and emailed to on or prior to July 1, 2017. There is a $75 processing fee for all cancellations. We reserve the right to substitute speakers, or cancel or reschedule sessions because of low enrollment or other circumstances. If meeting must be cancelled in its entirety due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, MSA may refund the appropriate registration fees to meeting registrants; no refunds shall be made for travel expenses related to the conference. Registrants who purchase non-refundable airline tickets do so at their own risk.

Refunds In Case of Travel VISA Problems

If an attendee is unable to attend the annual meeting due to his/her inability to acquire a travel visa, a partial refund (amount paid minus a $75 processing charge) may be granted. Individuals seeking a refund shall submit the request in writing to the MSA Business Office prior to July 1, 2017.
