Call for Submissions: ALL NEW National Audubon Society Master Guide to Mushrooms
Fieldstone Publishing, together with publishing partners Knopf/Penguin Random House, are soliciting short-form articles for inclusion in the newly designed National Audubon Society Master Guide to Mushrooms, slated for publication in 2022.
Each article should be approximately 500-750 words in length. Honoraria will be granted to those submissions that are selected for publication. Authors may submit multiple articles for consideration. Submissions requested no later than July 1, 2021.

- Nomenclature and Taxonomy: Definitions and Updates
- Fungi and Birds – How Fungi Help or Hurt Birds
- Climate Change and Fungi – Functions and Impacts

- Communication Among Fungi, and To/With Plants and Animals

- Healing/Medicinal Mushrooms
- “Famous” Mushrooms in History (slightly tongue-in-cheek historic/cultural overview)
- Mushrooms and the Seasons
- Additional suggestions are welcome
