The International Botanical Congress meeting, which was going to be held in Brazil in 2023 will now be postponed and held in Madrid, Spain in July of 2024. This decision was in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Proposals to amend the Code from the previous congress submission process will be transferred to the Madrid conference, and no action is required. Submissions for Taxon proposals will close on March 31, 2023.
