Graduate Opportunities in Microbial, Soil, and Plant Ecology: Lamit Lab, Syracuse University

Published by Cori VanGalder on
The Lamit lab in the Department of Biology at Syracuse University is recruiting graduate students (PhD) to start in Fall 2023. Our lab focuses on two broad areas: 1) microbial (fungi, archaea and bacteria) and plant ecology of peatland ecosystems in the contexts of carbon cycling and biogeography, and 2) the roles of plant identity (e.g., genotype, nativity, broad lineage) and traits in plant-fungal interactions (especially mycorrhizal fungi). Although our research interests are diverse, we would be very excited to find fungal enthusiasts to join the lab.
