Postdoc Associate Position: Study Frogeye Leaf Spot of Soybean
A postdoc associate position is available in the Soybean Pathology Lab in the Crop Production and Pest Control Unit, USDA Agricultural Research Service (https://www.ars.usda.gov/midwest-area/west-lafayette-in/crop-production-and-pest-control-research/). The laboratory is located on the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The position will be filled through Department of Energy ORISE program (https://orise.orau.gov/) so there is no citizenship requirement.
Requirements:
A Ph.D. in plant pathology or mycology or related fields to lead a project on frogeye leaf spot of soybean, including genomics, population genetics, sexual recombination, as well as virulence diversity. Assistance from technician and/or undergraduate assistants will be provided.
The employment will be one year and can be renewed annually up to four years based on available funding and job performance.
