MycoWorks is seeking an experienced researcher for fungal strain development in the Fine Mycelium Research & Development (FMR&D) group. The successful candidate will lead efforts for strain procurement, potential strain evolution and/or engineering, culture collection maintenance, and evaluation of strain performance in our innovative biomaterial growth processes. We are looking for someone to  develop high-throughput strain screening and characterization methods, with an eye to identifying attributes predictive of high performance in robust, scalable processes.  The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to greatly influence and impact the strain development efforts.
