Senior Executive Position - USDA APHIS
Want to make a difference in protecting the health and value of America’s agricultural and natural resources? The United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is seeking a seasoned senior executive to lead the United States’ National Plant Protection Organization and its almost 3,000 dedicated employees across the country in safeguarding U.S. agriculture against pests and diseases that threaten our nation’s food crops, farms, and forests and facilitating the safe global trade of agricultural products.
To lead this program, APHIS is looking for an executive with broad plant pest and disease knowledge and the ability to incorporate it into regulatory control, eradication or safeguarding programs. Expertise in collaboration and consensus building to support programs, policy development and/or policy implementation to meet plant health or safeguarding goals or results is also desired.
